Library bleg

Has anyone out there done paleographic research at the Royal Library in Brussels? I emailed them some time ago (in French, even) about what I'd need to get in to look at a manuscript, and haven't heard back. If you know it--or have done similar research at similar libraries--what credentials, paperwork, etc. does one need to get in there and look at the old stuff?

My experience is in Spain, but in several different archives, including the national library and the royal palace... I'd say a faculty ID and letter of introduction from your institution would be enough (plus passport, and sometimes passport-size photos). I've never had to present more than that, and the norms are easier now than they were several years ago. I hope they get back to you, though!
