Las Vegas airport (5).I held my very own, first published book in my hands.
I smelled it.
And it was good.
(And I think that I'm now done with the Vegas pictures, which is also good.)
(OH! And as we speak, TM is being addressed by two young missionaries out in the driveway. Hee hee! I shall hide indoors, watch through the window with the cat, and anticipate his account of it. A good day all around.)

(Love the airport carpeting series, btw.)
Congratulations! What an exciting way to start the weekend!
Whoo-hoo! E-mail me the title, if you want, and I'll make sure our library orders a copy.
Yay for you! TODAY, YOU ARE A GODDESS!
Awesome about the book. Yes, I love the smell of a book! The first thing I did when I held an original copy of Shakespeare's first folio in my hands was to smell it. And then? Started crying. I'm crazy.
But to have your own book in your hands? My god. That's got to feel like a million bucks. You should be so proud!! Happy book day to you!
